World Cup Quarter Final revenge is the order of the day and Scotland are the first team to deliver. After a devastating last minute loss two years ago Scotland responded today by putting eight tries past the Wallabies. The result should be put in context though, Australia were down to 14 men for most of the game after a blatant red card for Kepu and it was their last game of the season.

A try from Kurtley Beale just after half-time had levelled the scores at 17-17, but the Scots hit back with two tried in quick succession before running away with the game and rubbing salt into Australian wounds.

After also running New Zealand close last week Scottish fans now appear to have heightened expectations for the Six Nations.
