It was an interesting 2021 for rugby in general, with Covid playing its ugly part in nearly every major tournament of the past year.
The All Blacks broke records but their year will not be remembered fondly. Ireland's mens and womens teams had tough starts, but their performances during the Autumn brought renewed hope.
Similarly, our four provinces will be disappointed in their European showings, but the start of the 2021/22 season has been extremely positive.
