When speaking about a back named Ramos, who's comfortable with the ball at his feet and picking passes, many would say PSG's Sergio Ramos. Yesterday, during the Heineken Champions Cup semifinal, it was a different Ramos who showcased some wonderful footballing ability.

France and Toulouse full back Thomas Ramos sent social media into overdrive with this impulsive pass which would normally be seen from a Ligue 1 player, never mind a Top 14 star.

Sharks' full back Boeta Chamberlain kicked the ball in behind the Toulouse defence,  forcing Thomas Ramos on co to drop back.

With Springboks' centre Lukhanyo Am hot on the heels of the French full back, he opted for a delicate pass across his goalpost into the waiting arms of Romain Ntamack who then relieved pressure with a kick to touch.

Ramos has shown over the past number of years what a calm operator he is at the highest level, kicking a number of vital penalties and conversions for France and Toulouse in high pressure environments.

This quick thinking is impressive even for a player with the talent and composure that Thomas Ramos has.

Social Media reacts to that pass from Thomas Ramos

It's safe to say that the Ramos incident went down a treat among fans and ex-players. Brian O'Driscoll was no stranger to doing some incredible things on the rugby pitch during his playing career and the former Ireland captain took to Instagram to react to Thomas Ramos' pass.
