In the final, frantic, heart stopping minute of England's assault of the French line yesterday, a shrill blast of Nigel Owens' whistle seemed to signal that all was over and that all was won for Ireland.
But then France inexplicably or when you think about it; totally naturally, decided to take a quick tap and go and keep the ball in play. Having almost been turned over, scrum half Rory Kockott eventually got his hands on the ball and hoofed it into touch.
He reacted to the penalty like a player who had just won the championship and not just lost by 20.
We salute you sir.
Just to be clear, the man pointed out here is fully aware of the scoreboard.
