Ronan O'Gara found himself in hot water once again in recent days, with the La Rochelle head coach set to face a French disciplinary committee next week due to his actions during a recent game against Racing 92.
The Cork man has been no stranger to such processes since arriving in the country, having been cited for similar offences on three occasions last season.
This time around, the man himself feels that he has been treated rather harshly.

Ronan O'Gara growing tired of treatment in France
According to his column in the Irish Examiner, the incident at the centre of this latest citing involves a discussion Ronan O'Gara had with the fourth official at halftime of the game against Racing 92, where he queried why his side had not been awarded a penalty try for an incident in the first half.
He believes it was a run of the mill conversation that any coach would have with the officials over the course of a game, something that rarely, if ever, results in a punishment being handed out.
Considering that O'Gara has been punished regularly during his time in France, he now feels as though he is being unfairly singled out by the authorities. He would go on to compare it to the way other coaches have gotten away with more egregious incidents in the recent past.
The Clermont coach Christophe Urios has slated officials publicly in the media but he isn’t an Irish coach making his way in France...
Certainly, there is a sense here, without a hint of paranoia, that selective treatment is a concern. Others appear to be able to comment on officialdom with impunity, yet I look sideways at someone and I am up before a hearing committee again.

Ronan O'Gara will face the disciplinary committee on December 6th, just a few days before his La Rochelle said host Leinster in a rematch of last year's Champions Cup final.
