Every Irish rugby fan knew that Robbie Henshaw had potential going into the Six Nations. Not just Irish fans but all rugby fans at the end of the competition knew that he was going to be a great player.
In a video for Life Style Sports, Henshaw demonstrated one of the tackling techniques which has helped his rise to prominence. He explained that the chop tackle is an excellent method of defending a physically imposing opponent and also a great way to create turnover opportunities.
The Connacht player also detailed the importance of line speed in forcing penalties, knock-ons and turnovers.
