This would be a huge coup for Munster. Multiple reports have surfaced today claiming that Munster are set to sign South African World Cup winners Damian de Allende and RG Snyman for next season.
Both the Irish Times and Irish Independent are reporting that de Allende is on his way to Thomond Park in 2020, while the Irish Independent believe he will also be joined by RG Snyman.
Munster were given clearance by the IRFU to sign a centre from overseas after the departure of Jaco Taute, a hole that will very much be filled by de Allende.
He was one of the best centres on show at the World Cup this year, playing a huge part as South Africa secured the Webb Ellis Trophy for a third time. He spent the last six years with the Stormers, but will play the first half of 2020 with Japanese side Panasonic Wild Knights.
The 45-cap international is believed to have signed a two-year contract, and could be joined by RG Snyman.
The 24-year old lock was also part of the World Cup winning squad in Japan, featuring in all seven matches at the tournament, including two starts. He will also play out the rest of this season in Japan with Honda Heat before moving to Munster with de Allende next summer.
