Well this is worrying. Racing Metro have tweeted that Jonny Sexton could miss up to six weeks due to his thumb injury.
For those who aren't down the French lingo, it reads 'Jonny Sexton has come back from Twickenham with a thumb ligament injury. Out for between ten days and six weeks.'
Labit : "Jonny Sexton est rentré de Twickenham avec une lésion ligamentaire au pouce. Indisponible entre 10 jours et six semaines."

So basically he might both the Italy and France game or he may not miss any of them.
UPDATE
The IRFU have since come out and said they expect Sexton to be fit for Saturday week. They say 'The Ireland Medical Team have had a Consultant Hand Specialist review Jonathan and his scans.
'The ligament damage sustained does not warrant surgery and if Jonathan continues his current rate of improvement we would be confident that he will be available for selection against Italy.'
Let's hope they're right.
