Former Ireland Under 20 rugby player, Davy McGregor, suffered a horrific injury last night while playing for his current club Heriots in Scotland. It is not clear as to whether McGregor was caught by an opponent's hip or shorts but he was certainly caught by something as you can see from the picture below.
McGregor was playing against Barbarians when he suffered one of the most gruesome injuries we have seen in quite some time and viewer discretion is most certainly advised.

We can't decide whether this injury is worse or the new title of most horrific injury goes to Davy McGregor. Both definitely deserve a mention as the worst we have seen.
