Stringer signing for Worcester means that at a combined age of 77, he on Donncha O'Callaghan will once again be teammates.
O'Callaghan joined Worcester in 2015. Earlier this year, he signed a new deal which will keep him at the Aviva Premiership club for a third season.
Speaking about joining Worcester, Stringer said he will be delighted to once again be reunited with his old Ireland and Munster teammate, more than five years after they last played together at Munster.
I'm looking forward to meeting all the lads and being reunited with Donncha.
I'm feeling as fit and ready as ever and am genuinely excited about getting back on the field as I feel I still have plenty to offer.
