Today we celebrate the 33rd birthday of Munster's Peter O'Mahony. The Cork man has blessed Irish rugby fans with enough priceless clips as well as moments of brilliance that make you question if he is entirely human. These are just a handful of our favourite moments of a legendary - but still unfinished - career.
1. That Peter O'Mahony Interview after loss to Leinster, 2017
Following a 23-17 defeat to Leinster in 2017, Munster skipper Peter O'Mahony was interviewed by Reggie Corrigan of TG4 in order to discuss the game. The interview quickly got awkward when he was asked about the intensity of his own teammates throughout the game, to which O'Mahony responded by glaring at the reporter and delivering the classic line:
What do you mean? You're questioning my teammates?
2. His celebratory dance after pivotal turnover vs New Zealand, 2021
On November 13th 2021, Ireland hosted the All Blacks in the Aviva Stadium, looking to record only a third ever win against them in over one hundred years. Ireland would go on to win the match 29-20, and whilst he did not start on the day, Peter O'Mahony came on to the pitch in the 59th minute and stepped up to the occasion. However, his most memorable moment from this match has to be his celebratory dance following a brilliant Tadhg Beirne turnover.
Those celebrations 🥳 🥳 🥳

3. He had a few words for Sam Cane, 2022
Peter O'Mahony was at the heart of Ireland's success during the second test against New Zealand in July, showing passion, leadership and doggedness. During a second-half altercation with All Blacks captain Sam Cane, O'Mahony can be seen saying:
Who do you think you are? You're a shit Richie McCaw pal
A brilliant one-liner that epitomises everything great about Peter O'Mahony.
4. That spiral kick vs New Zealand, 2022
Also in the second test against New Zealand, O'Mahony executed a wonderful spiral kick from inside his own half to win Ireland a 50:22. Following a quick turnover, his ability to spot the space in behind the All Blacks defence and execute such a fine kick is truly remarkable. It makes you wonder, is Peter O'Mahony wasted at flanker?
Drink it in.

5. Tears of joy following a series win vs New Zealand, 2022
Following a hiding from the All Blacks in the first test of the summer, Ireland bounced back to win their first and second ever match over the Kiwis in New Zealand, and along with it, the Series. Peter O'Mahony was one of Ireland's stand out players, pouring his heart and soul into each match. As the final test drew to a close, O'Mahony can be seen embracing a member of the coaching staff, wiping the tears away from his eyes.

6. Try-saving interception in Ireland's first home win against the All Blacks, 2018
In November 2018 Ireland hosted the All Blacks in the Aviva Stadium, recording their first win against New Zealand in Ireland. In the 60th minute, Ireland were leading 16-6 when Beauden Barrett executed a grubber kick that looked certain to set Ben Smith up for the try. With the Irish defence spread thin, a bruised and backpedaling Peter O'Mahony dived on the ball from out of nowhere, certainly preventing a game-changing try. O'Mahony rightfully won player of the match for his efforts throughout the match.

7. A telling off for Tomas Lavanini, 2021
After defeating the All Blacks in Dublin in November 2021, Peter O'Mahony captained the side that took on Argentina the following week. O'Mahony lead his side to a remarkable 46 point winning margin, scoring 53 unanswered points after an early Argentina try. In the 59th minute, Argentina's Tomas Lavanini was shown red after a dangerously late clear-out on Cian Healy saw his shoulder made contact with Healy's face. The referee immediately blew his whistle and Lavanini was on the receiving end of a rant from skipper O'Mahony which was picked up on the Ref Mic.
Thats a fucking red. You're a scumbag. You know exactly what you're doing. He knows exactly what he's doing.
Hardman, aren't you? Good man yourself. That's very unlike you, isn't it.

8. No smiles for the camera, 2022
Following an impressive Munster victory over Exeter in the second leg of the Round of 16 in the Heineken Champions Cup, the Munster skipper was awarded Player of the Match. As this was announced, the cameras panned to O'Mahony who, with his poker face on, avoided showing any signs of emotion whatsoever whilst being patted on the head by his teammates. Eventually he mustered a smirk whilst winking at the camera before being swarmed by those around him.
9. Peter O'Mahony's appearance on the wing vs Italy, 2013
On the final day of the 2013 Six Nations, Ireland had a day to forget. Inside a 15 minute period, Ireland had lost a winger and a replacement winger, as Keith Earls and Luke Fitzgerald suffered from concussion and a torn ACL for Fitzgerald. No replacement? No bother. Well known for his wing capabilities, O'Mahony stepped up to the task and played on the wing for the remaining 44 minutes.
Peter omahony on the wing ?? Dafuq!!
