The Ireland squad is in Spain at the moment ahead of the opening game of the Six Nations against France on February 3rd. Joe Schmidt took his 36-man group to Oliva Nova, which is in the south-west of the country near Valencia, for a five-day training camp.
It's the first time that the Ireland head coach has opted for a warm weather camp ahead of the Six Nations. Usually, the squad is based at Carton House outside Maynooth in the build-up for the tournament. Schmidt said that the change was equally the idea of the players as it was the coaching staff.
Some players, it seems, are enjoying the benefits which come with being based in Spain for the week more than others. In an Instagram story, Conor Murray documented a rather grumpy looking Peter O'Mahony.
As other players enjoyed some time sunbathing on the beach, O'Mahony was the classic Irish lad uncomfortable with his sandy surroundings.
