It's a big day for Paul O'Connell and his hopes of getting back to full fitness and making his debut for Toulon. Ireland's fallen leader is in London undergoing his operation and he's kindly updated his Instagram for the first time in a couple of weeks to let fans know that there's at least one positive about the situation.

The Ireland camp have already confirmed that O'Connell will be heading back to Cardiff ahead of Sunday's clash with Argentina to give the squad a motivational boost. It might be a bit of a left field tactic, but perhaps he could bring his new jocks along to help put the fear of God into the Argentines.
