Speaking to Sky Sports after Munster's PRO12 semi-final win against Ospreys, Paul O'Connell admitted that it was likely the final time we will see him in a Munster jersey at Thomond Park.
It probably is. I think I said before that summer would be the time for making all those decisions. But yeah, it's probably the last time I'll play for Munster here anyway.
O'Connell received a guard of honour when leaving the pitch and also waved goodbye to the fans.
The question now, what next for the great man? In an interview with Marcus Horan on TG4, O'Connell spoke about the possibility of moving into coaching and, like Ronan O'Gara, how he would like to begin that phase of his rugby career away from Munster.
