Former Welsh wing wizard and Glenswilly GAA standout Shane Williams might have endeared himself him to Ireland during The Toughest Trade, but Paul O'Connell wasn't leaving him off the hook during a discussion for Lions Tour sponsors Standard Life Investments.
O'Connell and Williams roomed together during the 2005 Lions Tour to New Zealand, and the Munster and Ireland legend was quick to respond to Williams' claims that he wasn't as intimidating in person as Williams had feared.
The 2009 Lions captain brought the audience back to 2005, and his first encounter with the Welsh players' rather curious cosmetic habits. Williams' barnet, he said, produced perhaps the biggest surprise.
