It was Paul O'Connell's last Ireland game in this country, and the ligind didn't disappoint. O'Connell was one of Ireland's best players, as per usual and Sportsfile were there to snap some brilliant photos of the great man.
Speaking of the incredible reception that he got, O'Connell said it was very nice but that he was a little embarrassed:
It was embarrassing a little bit when you’ve lost the game and it’s your first hit-out as well. I certainly felt a little bit rusty, it’s very hard to play as well as you’d like in your first start.
