England scraped past Wales at Twickenham today, with a 19-17 win in their World Cup warm-up clash.
It was an improvement on last week's fixture, which Wales won 20-9, but the main talking point was Owen Farrell's red card in the 63rd minute.
The out-half was initially sent to the bin for a high, shoulder-to-head hit on Taine Basham, before the yellow was upgraded to a red.
With Farrell already sent to 'tackle school' this year for a similar incident, England may find it difficult to get the ban reduced.
They are now in danger of seeing their captain and one of their genuine world class options being handed at least a six week ban, which would see him miss the group stages.

“A lot of hard work [during the game]," said England back-row Ben Earl after the game.
"The last seven weeks is proof of what we have done and then we worked right to the end.
"We went down to 12 men at one point and we came back so we are really pleased.
"I think we just rely on what we have done and trust our game plan and we have so many key leaders in this team.
"We showed a bit of fight after the questions been asked of us after last week.
"Test match rugby certainly against Wales is not going to be pretty in the first 40 or 60 minutes and it opened up when we had 12 men."
