De Paper has the big scoop today. Cork will celebrate its contribution to Munster rugby with statues to native sons O'Gara and Stringer. (Frankie Sheehan will have commission his own statue).
Interestingly, this might not be the first statue of Peter Stringer in Ireland. Frequent visitors to Carrick-On-Shannon will be aware of a statue in the town that bears a strange likeness to the great scrum half. Not sure if the other guy is supposed to be Declan Kidney.
