If you were excited for the Munster-Leinster St. Stephen's Day rugby feast then things just got better. Nigel Owens, who's been in charge of exciting games like South Africa v New Zealand in 2013, has been put in charge of this titanic duel between Ireland's rugby rivals.
Munster & Leinster go to war today says the Irish Independent. Please don't boys I've bought my whistle not a gun lol pic.twitter.com/wjueuD1rZR

Munster and Leinster are fighting it out for the annual bragging rights, at a new time of St. Stephen's Day as opposed to the week before a European game. Nevertheless, it should provide some captivating viewing for some food coma induced rugby fans.
That someone of the calibre of Nigel Owens is in charge should make it a good game, in what looks to be a toss up on who should win. Owens' presence should allow for a quick game where the playmakers of the team to impress, while a Munster-Leinster game is always a war fought in the trenches. It's clear that Owens is also excited, although his one-liner in this tweet suggests that he might not be prepared for some of the collisions that will come at 5pm.
