It's fair to so that Nigel Owens is pretty much as beloved as any sporting official can be. So you'll be glad to hear that the Welsh rugby referee emerged essentially unscathed from a crash on Britain's M4 yesterday evening.
Owens had been refereeing Leinster's win over Castres in France on Sunday and was making his way home from Bristol airport when he was involved in a two vehicle collision.
