Rain, wind and hail are general across Europe, making it an exceptionally difficult day in which to play rugby.
Toulouse and Wasps, however, made light of the conditions to serve up a thrilling Heineken Cup pool clash, with the French side continuing their superb European form with a 42-27 victory. Toulouse scored five tries, with Antoine Du Pont touching down for two of them, meaning that they remain clear at the top of Leinster's pool with 17 points from a possible 20.
It was a terrific game, but at the end of it all, tensions spilled over into a mini-melee as the clock ticked into the red.
Referee Nigel Owens was quick to defuse the situation, however: calling Pointud and Harris together to admonish them for their actions, calling on them to shake hands.
That is very embarrassing, and that is not needed in the game. We've had a wonderful game of rugby, and I won't let you spoil it. Shake hands... You don't want to? That's fine.

Elsewhere in the game, Jerome Kaino clashed with Owens - the Kiwi sarcastically called the referee "Superman" after missing what Kaino believed to be a deliberate slapdown.
Jerome Kaino: "Slap-down, sir!" Nigel Owens: "Not that I saw." Jerome Kaino: "Even Superman misses stuff, eh?" Should be one for the citing commissioner.
