Nemani Nadolo, the self-proclaimed "heaviest back in world rugby", has taken to Twitter in an effort to relay details of a disgusting incident in which he was racially abused.
Playing his rugby with Montpellier in France since 2016, the Fijian international had been out for a meal with his family when the incident occurred.
Don’t no how to take it cause I don’t speak French.. I’m out in Montpellier with my family who came from overseas to c me. 1 supporter who is drunk said to me “ not bad for a monkey to win the game for MHR in Clermont”. Now he was drunk but wow . 😒 #really

Spurring him on to give a general assessment of his European experience, Nadolo was clearly disappointed with the manner of such an unprovoked, disturbing attack.
FUCK IM OVER RACISM.. the worst thing is they attack you when u out having a good time with your family!. 👋🏻. Only problem is they are gutless. I thank the lord for patience... FUCK!!

Currently sitting top of the French Top 14 with Montpellier, Nadolo's story did prompt an outpouring of sadness and goodwill toward the player and his family
I'm so sorry you had to put up with that shit. Hope you know that there's love and respect for you all over.

Although Tino Poluleuligaga, a former player for Auckland, offered the response perhaps many would have been hoping Nadolo indulged.
You should of kicked his ass!

A disgusting incident that Nadolo has shown great courage in dealing with as he has, hopefully it shall act as a deterrent to such acts in future, and an example of the effect such attacks can have.
