You could be critical of the Northampton tacklers but you also must have sympathy with JJ Hanrahan, George North and Co. It's not easy to bring down a 6' 5", 20 stone man when he's barrelling towards you.
In the 51st minute of last night's Champions Cup tie at the Altrad Stadium, the ball arrived into the hands of Nemani Nadolo on the left wing. Initially, it looked like he had lost control as he juggled the ball. That should have been JJ Hanrahan's chance to send the giant Fijian into touch.
Instead, Nadolo bulldozed through five Northamton defenders to put his side 12 - 10 ahead. Even George North, himself a formidable physical presence could not bring down the 28-year-old. It's a try which certainly elicits memories of Jonah Lomu running over Mike Catt at the 95 World Cup.
Montpellier won the game 26-17 with Nadolo getting the bonus point-sealing fourth try for the French side.
