After returning to winning ways in France last weekend, Munster will face Northampton in a bid to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions Cup. Munster v Northampton is set to be a compelling fixture and here's everything you need to know about the game.

Munster got up and running in the competition last weekend with a famous victory in Toulon. Their campaign faltered previously drawing at home to Bayonne and losing in Sandy Park to Exeter. This week poses a different challenge as Northampton, who are already qualified for the knockout stages come to Thomond Park.

Munster moved up to 3rd in pool 3 after last weekends result with 8 points with Glasgow behind them on 5. Northampton are out of reach for Munster as group leaders but they will want a result in Thomond Park to ward off Exeter who sit a point behind them. A win will seal Munster's place in the knockout stage of the competition.

Injuries still plague Munster however, the return of a number of key men was crucial in last Saturday's victory with more returning this weekend,  they will look  to safely secure passage to the knockout stages.

Munster confirmed over 23,500 tickets have been sold for the game, so expect a raucous Thomond Park.
