The two-time European champions may be reeling from the departure of head coach Graham Rowntree but have big fish to fry in the form of the Munster v All Blacks XV in a sold-out Thomond Park this weekend.
The November 2 meeting will mark the tenth time Munster have faced off against an All Blacks squad, with the historic fixture now one of the most esteemed clashes in world rugby.
The province has introduced glamour fixtures to its schedule in recent seasons, notably getting the better of South Africa 'A' on an historic night in November of 2022.
That 28-14 win, which really kickstarted a campaign that ended with URC title glory, was played out at a sold-out Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork and proved to be one of the highlights of Rowntree's impressive reign.
Munster effectively repeated the feat last season when scraping past Super Rugby champions Crusaders on another famous night, which again subsequently preceded a positive change in competitive results.
With just two wins from their opening six matches this season, Munster will be hoping their impending meeting with All Blacks XV will have a similar effect.
