Two and a half years after he departed Munster for the Aviva Premiership, it looks like Tomás O'Leary is set to make a Thomond Park comeback next season.
Gerry Thornley of The Irish Times, reports today that Munster are looking for some experience fill the Conor Murray-shaped gap which will be left in the Munster team during the World Cup.
It seems O'Leary, who is coming to the end of a three-year deal with London Irish, is the man to fill that gap. What this means for Cathal Sheridan and Duncan Williams is uncertain.
The scrum-half won two Heineken Cups with Munster but it was the emergence of Conor Murray which put him on the fringes of the team and lead to his move abroad.
