Well, Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal has provided not only Munster, but all of Ireland with a cause for fury ahead of the looming Heineken Cup clash between the two sides. Speaking after Toulon beat London Irish on Saturday, Mr Boudjellal opined to rugby365:
"After shipping nearly fifty points in Munster, I'd never have thought that we would top the pool with two rounds to go.
"I have not forgotten that after the away match an Irish player [Donncha O’Callaghan] had a go at us, saying that we were a (sic) time of mercenaries. The fact is that today Munster is financed by the IMF {International Monetary Fund]"
That's some libelous talk right there, Mr Boudjellal. The IMF might run our tawdry economy and tell our bullshit politicians what to do, but they don't organise our scrums.
Plus Ajay Chopra supports Leinster.
