Munster have confirmed the acquisition of Jaco Taute on a short-term deal.
Taute, who can play at full back or centre, joins the province on a four-month loan deal.
The three-cap Springbok plays for the Stormers and Western Province.
Taute played against Ireland during a 2012 November international though he has not featured for South Africa since that game. The Springboks won that match 16-12 with Taute playing at outside centre.

The 25-year-old arrives as cover for the injured Francis Saili. The New Zealander is out of action for four months with a shoulder injury.
Taute is new Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus' second South African signing. Lock Jean Kleyn arrived during the summer and has so far impressed.
