Munster's dream of taking back-to-back URC crowns is over after a gutting defeat to Glasgow Warriors in Saturday night's semi-final.
Having topped the league table during the regular season, Munster had home advantage for the last-four encounter, but never got going on a tough night at Thomond Park.
Glasgow came firing out of the blocks, and were ultimately full worth for their 17-10 victory.
It was a bitterly disappointing way for Munster's season to end, and there was a cruel irony to a rather unfortunate blunder on the big screen during Saturday's game.

Munster had an unfortunate big-screen gaffe at Thomond Park on Saturday
Earlier on Saturday, Leinster had lost their semi-final against the Bulls, meaning it was a serious day to forget for Irish rugby in the URC.
The result in Pretoria meant that the Bulls awaited the winners of Munster v Glasgow, with Munster guaranteed home advantage for the final in the event of them winning out against the Scottish side.
One Reddit user (alba-jay) shared a photo of the big screen at Saturday's game, with a graphic promoting "FINAL - MUNSTER v BULLS - THOMOND PARK - SATURDAY 22ND JUNE - 5PM."
Given Munster went on to lose Saturday's semi-final, it was an extremely unfortunate slip-up.
Of course, it is no surprise that Munster's media team would have graphics ready for all eventualities ahead of Saturday's game, and it was obviously a slip-up rather than anything presumptuous from the matchday team.
BBC Scotland reporter Andy Burke took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon and said he had reached out to Munster on the matter.
Burke confirmed that "Simple human error" was to blame, and that there was "much embarrassment" among Munster cohorts for such an unfortunate mistake.
Spoke to Munster about big screen blunder. Simple human error in putting up the wrong graphic. Much embarrassment but an honest mistake.
Munster were extremely welcoming and helpful to me and I heard nothing but praise and congratulations for Glasgow from their fans post-match.— Andy Burke (@AndyBurke_) June 16, 2024
Additionally, Burke said that Munster had been "extremely welcoming," and that the mishap had not dampened a positive atmosphere among the fans of both teams post-game.
There was little positivity to take from Saturday's game for the home side, however, with their excellent regular season derailed by a rampant Glasgow side in Limerick.
It was Simon Zebo's final game for the province ahead of his retirement this summer, with the Irish veteran in tears leaving the pitch after a bitterly disappointing result.
Irish rugby's four provinces are set to go trophyless once again this season, with a summer of head-scratching ahead for Munster head coach Graham Rowntree.
