When you think of Mike Ross, you think of a robust, hard-hitting prop. Strength, power and bullish come to mind. Not nimble, agile or indeed quick.
Yet fans were using all of these words to describe the 37-year old Corkman after he made a sensational break during Leinster's hammering of Newport Gwent Dragons on Friday night.
Heartbreakingly, the game wasn't on television, so we didn't see any footage of the incredible break. We only had Leinster's twitter to describe it. Ross had just been sprung from the bench as Leinster began to close the game out.
56' just when you think you've seen it all 20 yard break from @MikeRoss03 who is just on #NGDvLEI (10-28)

There was no footage and we were destined to never witness this incredible moment.
UNTIL NOW!
Because Ross himself sourced it from (presumably) a post match analysis video and recorded it off his phone like a true pro

He seems genuinely delighted with himself as well. A follow-up tweet explained the motivation
Hago was waving a Snickers at me from the try line

It clearly had nothing to do with the big massive gap in the Dragons defense. It's a pity it's a little bit too late to call for his inclusion in this summer's Lions squad.
Leinster went top of the Pro12 after destroying the Welsh side 54-22. But now they've a new tactic entitled 'Give it to Mike'
