There has been no official word from the IRFU or Joe Schmidt about any additions to the Ireland playing squad, but it's not unusual for extra players to be called up to the squad unannounced. Players usually go through an initiation with Joe Schmidt before they are trusted - Jared Payne was training with Ireland before he qualified - and now it's the turn of two more Connacht players:

It's Schmidt's process, and is sure to benefit both Matt Healy and Quinn Roux knowning that they are on the radar of the national team - and a further indication that all the good work Connacht are doing will see international recognition - just after they had five players on the pitch during Ireland's win over Italy.
Healy and Roux will have to wait, probably until Canada in November, before they get any involvement - but it's a process many, including Garry Ringrose, have already gone through.
