It's possible Paul O'Connell may not be going to Toulon anymore but as good as the Ireland man is, it's fair to say the French side will probably survive without him. The European champions' ability to scoop up some of the world's best talent over the past couple of years has been key to turning them into the all-conquering side they are.
While they have had quite a few impressive foreign imports, Johnny Wilkinson and Matt Giteau were undoubtedly two of the most important. The England outhalf may have since retired but Giteau is still there and now he also has a chance at international redemption.
Michael Cheika's push to overturn the rule that prevented oversees Wallabies gives Giteau the opportunity to once again prove his ability on an international stage and he's working hard to be in peak shape ahead of the World Cup.
As part of that, he let his Twitter followers know just how much hard work was going in and he couldn't help but get a dig in at his old Toulon teammate.
Now I know how @JonnyWilkinson felt his whole career when he trained.. #NoMates pic.twitter.com/Ny0H4ostDW

We're assuming that's a dig at Wilkinson's injury record and his tendency to be in the gym recovering rather than being out of the training pitch. Either that or the Aussie is revealing to the world that, quite simply, no one liked the England man. We'd edge towards the first explanation.
