Ireland U20s face off against Italy in their final pool game of the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship in Argentina with their seeding for the knockout stages still undetermined.

Noel McNamara's side kicked things off with a 42-26 win over England on the opening day of the tournament last week, scoring six tries on their way to beating their old rivals.

But a 45-17 defeat at the hands of Australia on Saturday has dented the hopes of the Ireland U2os side, with a place in the top section of the playoffs seeming unlikely.

A bonus point win over Italy would keep their slim hopes alive and Ireland U20s have made several changes for the showdown with their Six Nations rivals, who are without a win from their first two games despite pushing England all the way in a 24-23 loss.

Follow all of the action as Ireland U20s search for their second win of the tournament.
