Ahead of the release of 'Lions Uncovered' - the usual (and usually outstanding) behind-the-scenes look at a Lions Tour through the ups and downs of a whole summer - on November 13th, the Lions' official YouTube channel is revealing some clips in advance.
Among the first to emerge is one of Stuart Hogg, who had his tour ended in the most unfortunate of incidents when he collided with teammate Conor Murray on the pitch in a warm-up game against the Crusaders, causing bad damage to his left eye.
It was a headache for Warran Gatland, and bitterly disappointing for the Scotland fans, but nobody was hurting more than Hogg.
The Scottish fullback sat down with the Lions Uncovered camera crew to recall what happened, and you can see how upset he is the moment he realises that he will be watching the rest of the games from home.
You certainly can't question whether or not the players care about playing for the Lions.
Hogg would soon made a decision to cut Guinness - his self-confessed guilty pleasure - out of his diet and lost an impressive 9 kilos ahead of the new season after he realised that he couldn't fit into the tailored suit he was to wear at Duncan Weir's wedding in the summer - an event he was able to attend having flown back from New Zealand.
He would have been useful in the tests, that's for sure, but at least he bounced back and is a better version of himself after what looked like a dangeous injury.
Lions Uncovered should be very interesting when the full thing is released on November 13th.
