Leinster's sojourn to South Africa ends tonight with a game in Bloemfontein against the Cheetahs.

Along with Zebre, the two sides travelled south last week for back-to-back games against the Southern Kings and Cheetahs.

Port Elizabeth failed to get excited by the arrival of the Pro14 with thousands of empty seats in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium last weekend, and it looks like the same apathy is in Bloemfontein.

Despite the Leinster-Cheetahs game being the second of a double-bill in the Free State Stadium, the fans simply did not show up.

The coverage on Sky Sports at half-time and at the start of the second-half did nothing to hide the face there were very little people in attendance.

While the Pro14 will take time to settle in South Africa, the idea of introducing both the Cheetahs and Southern Kings is not working so far.

Despite the paltry attendance, those who did turn up were treated by a fine performance from the Cheetahs. They were leading 19-5 at half-time.
