Rob Kearney brought us news of the double rainbow earlier this week, now he brings us the song for Leinster, titled Leinster's Glory.
Surely it's only a matter of time before a proper music video comes out with wide panning shots of Gordon Darcy wading through the Slaney followed an arty fade shot of Shane Horgan in the Boyne, fielding a gaelic football before it magically turns into a gilbert. Leo Cullen's on screen involvement will need to be kept to a minimum. There may also be a need for an accuracy brush to be swept through the lyrics, mainly due to the odd mention of "the Liffey's pleasant stream".

Now learn the words, Leinster fans.
Through the streets of Dublin town
Walk brave men of high renown
Give your all and don't back down
On fields alive with glory.
From the Slaney to the Boyne
Together in one song we'll join
From the Liffey's pleasant stream
Sing for Leinster's glory.
See the Curragh's open plains
Tara's hills where heros trained
Fionn MacCumhail played wild games
Sing for Leinster's glory.
From the Slaney to the Boyne
Together in one song we'll join
From the Liffey's pleasant stream
Sing for Leinster's glory.
From the Slaney to the Boyne
Together in one song we'll join
From the Liffey's pleasant stream
We'll sing for Leinster's glory.
