Over 80,000 rugby fans made the journey to Croke Park as Leinster and Munster met at the GAA venue for the first time in 15 years.
It was the Blues who claimed the spoils when the sides met in the Heineken Cup semi-finals back in 2009 with Munster eager to claim revenge.
The visitors would have taken confidence from stunning Leinster in Dublin en route to URC title success in 2023 - hoping to add another famous victory to their repertoire.
There was a sea of blue and red throughout the venue's famous stands, smashing the league's previous best attendance record of 68,262 from 2016.
Sportsfile photographers were there to capture the scenes.
