A huge match-up awaits as Leinster and La Rochelle prepare to renew rivalries this Saturday evening in the European Champions Cup Quarter Final. Here's all you need to know about Leinster v La Rochelle.
Leo Cullen's side had a tough run out against Leicester at the weekend although a Jamison Gibson Park hat-trick inspired them to a 36-22 win. This week poses a different challenge altogether in a repeat of the past two Champions Cup finals.
Leinster have lost a semi-final and two finals back-to-back-to-back against La Rochelle but finally got the monkey off their back this season, winning at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre back in December. However, revenge will certainly still be on their minds as they bid to knock out the two-time reigning champions.
Ronan O'Gara's side had a huge comeback victory over the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday. Mannie Libbok missed a conversion in overtime to give the French side a 22-21 win. O'Gara has taken his team to his hometown of Cork to train in preparation for this weekends affair. Both sides by their own admission haven't been at their fluent best this season but this game is sure to bring out the best in them.
