This weekend's Champions Cup will see URC leaders Leinster welcome Gallagher Premiership leaders Bath to the Aviva Stadium in a clash of the league leaders. Ahead of the clash, we've all the info on how to watch Leinster v Bath.
Leinster come into this game in perfect form, having won all nine of their URC openers and all three of their Champions Cup clashes, including last week's test match-like win over Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle.
While Leinster are already qualified and guaranteed a home tie for the round of sixteen, Leinster welcome Bath needing a result if they're to secure their own future and an all-important home draw through to the semi-final.
Their opponents currently sit top of the Gallagher Premiership having won eight of their opening ten games and are still vying for knock-out qualification in Europe's premier competition.
When is Leinster v Bath?
The Aviva Stadium will host Leinster v Bath this Saturday the 18th of January, with kickoff in Dublin set for 5:30 pm.
How to watch Leinster v Bath
Leinster v Bath will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2 and Premier Sport 1.
RTÉ's coverage kicks off forty-five minutes before kickoff at 4:45 pm, while Premier Sports will get theirs underway at 5:15 pm.
Permutations
Leinster are the only team in pool 2 already qualified for the round of sixteen and guaranteed a home tie for that clash.
However, Leo Cullen's men will still be playing to guarantee an all-important home tie when Bath come to town on Saturday. Any form of win over the Premiership leaders would remove doubt from the situation and guarantee a home quarter-final as well.
Additionally, a bonus point win for Leinster would go a long way in securing a home-semi final draw (should they qualify), with the result forcing Toulon to travel to Sale on Sunday needing a bonus point win while overcoming Leinster's victory total from Saturday by 11 points to overtake Leinster and claim a home semifinal.
