Since the Celtic League was established in 2001, teams from the league have won their European Cup on six occasions. Munster started the ball rolling in 2006 and 2008, before a great Leinster team took the ball, winning in 2009, 2011, 2012, and of course, 2018.
Amazingly, despite the often criticised lack of competitiveness in what is now the Pro 14, none of those teams have ever managed to win the league in the same year and complete the double. At least until now.
Leinster have the chance to become the first team to complete such a double tomorrow evening in the Aviva Stadium, when they take on The Scarlets, the defending champions of the competition.
Leo Cullen has this afternoon named his team for the game, and it's an incredibly strong squad, despite the absence of the injured Robbie Henshaw.
Isa Nacewa will lead the team out in his final game for Leinster, while Johnny Sexton and Dan Leavy return after missing the semi final over Munster last week through injury.
