Now that the fixtures in the club and international rugby calendar have been sorted out, fans can start to get excited about the return of provincial rugby later this month.
While everyone is looking forward to the meetings of Leinster vs Munster and Connacht vs Ulster in the PRO14, a new documentary on Virgin Media might have Leinster fans temporarily looking back on one of the club's finest achievements.
That's because a brand new documentary, Leinster Rugby's Double: Their Story, will air on Virgin Media One this Sunday at 10pm.
The documentary tells the story of Leinster's historic 2017/18 double-winning season.
Before the 2017/18 season, no team had ever won a Heineken Champions Cup and a Guinness PRO14 double.
In Leinster Rugby's Double: Their Story, the Leinster squad speak about the highs and lows of that incredible season, starting with the heartbreak of the previous campaign which fuelled their desire to go on and make history as they pipped Racing 92 and Scarlets in the showpiece finals.
Narrated by former Leinster player Niall Breslin, the documentary features never-before-seen interviews with the players, coaches, and staff, including Leo Cullen, Johnny Sexton, Isa Nacewa, and more.
Leinster Rugby's Double: Their Story airs on Virgin Media One, this Sunday 9th August at 10 pm.
Set record.
