Kurtley Beale has again been suspended by the Melbourne Rebels after breaking the conditions of his return to rugby by drinking alcohol and missing a scheduled counselling appointment.
The mercurial utility back had made his return for the Rebels last Friday after serving a four game ban for punching teammates Gareth Delve and Cooper Vuna, while the team was returning from a bar after the Rebels record 64-7 loss to the Sharks in Durban
Beale admitted to drinking last Saturday night and will now face another ban. The length of the suspension will be decided next week and Beale is now considered a serious doubt to play for Australia against the Lions in June.
