The score of the game came early in the second half through a familiar surname for Ireland and Munster fans.
Alexander Wood, playing out-half for St. Munchin's, sent the CBC defence into disarray with a scything 45-metre run. The score put Munchin's ahead 13-5 with the extras also kicked to give the Limerick school a 10-point lead.
Alexander is the son of former Ireland captain Keith Wood.
CBC would grab another try to set up an exciting finish. Though, Munchin's held out to win the game 15-10.
