Bath head coach Johann van Graan is remaining quiet about the possibility of his side signing Munster second row RG Snyman.
The 28-year-old, who joined Munster in the summer of 2020, is set to leave the province when his contract expires at the end of this season.
The Sunday Independent reported earlier this month that he was set to sign with Bath. However, the Irish Times subsequently reported that Leinster have lined up Synman as an addition to their squad for next season.
Van Graan, a South African like Snyman, worked with the World Cup winner at Munster before he departed to take up his current role at Bath.
"Firstly, on RG's future, no comment from my side," Van Graan told the Rugby Pod.
"What I would say about him is he's one of the best players I've coached. He was in the same school as I was.

"He's a phenomenal athlete. The things that he can do with ball in hand are incredible and I don't think the world has seen the best of him yet. Talent wise, he's one of the best that I've ever coached.
"All that I can say is that wherever he goes, whichever team takes him, they are lucky to have him.
"On top of that, he is an incredible human being. I've got the utmost respect for RG. Wherever he goes, I wish him the very best."
Van Graan is in his second season as Bath head coach. The club are second in the Premiership and have won both of their games in this season's Champions Cup.
The 43-year-old Van Graan said that becoming Springboks head coach is his ultimate dream.
"I've been very fortunate to coach 74 test matches with the Springboks as an assistant coach," he said.
"That's the ultimate thing to do, represent your country. If that ever becomes an option, I'd love to be part of a South African setup again.
"The reason why I left South Africa and went to Munster and came to Bath is to become a better coach and experience something different.
"Rugby is such an amazing game. You learn from the best in other environments. I'm trying to get better and enjoy the journey.
"If that ever comes along the way in the future, I'd love to do it. The Springboks are incredibly special and you've got deserve that.
"Yes, it's a dream of mine to coach my country one day but Rassie (Erasmus) has done an incredible job with the Springboks, double World Cup champions.
"The timing has to be right. For now, I am loving my time in the Premiership. Bruce (Craig) has got a big dream for Bath and I've bought into that dream.
"Most important, you've got to love what you do. This is an absolute passion of mine. I'll stay for as long as I can at Bath and enjoy this journey. Whatever comes next, I'll try and enjoy then."
