JJ Hanrahan completed his second full 80 minutes since his move to Northampton in the New Year's Day victory against Exeter.
The Kerryman has impressed since his transfer to the Aviva Premiership.
Plenty of Munster fans lamented the decision to allow Hanrahan move to Northampton in the first place. Given the problems Anthony Foley's side have had at out-half this season and the form the 23-year-old has shown, that sentiment among Munster fans has likely strengthened.
On BT's Rugby Tonight on Monday, the battle between Hanrahan and the previous incumbent of the number ten jersey at Franklin's Gardens, Stephen Myler, was discussed.
Former England winger Ugo Monye believes Hanrahan, aided by the attacking threat which he provides, is now the number one choice ahead of the 31-year-old Myler.
