James O'Connor has just made one of the costliest blunders that anyone can make in a rugby match. O'Connor's duffed clearance kick could not have gone to a worse place going directly to an opposition player on the try line.
That kick cost the Reds the game by exactly seven points, as the Reds dreadful season continues.

That clip doesn't fully convey how embarrassing a moment that was for O'Connor. The angle below shows Stefan Ungerer, the young Sharks scrumhalf who scored the try. Ungerer went to charge down O'Connor's kick but pulled his calf before the kick was made.
It didn't matter that Ungerer couldn't run at all, his great reactions allowed him to catch the ball and fall over the line for the winning score.

That was Ungerer's last play of the game, and potentially his last involvement this season depending on how bad his calf injury is.
