Although these are the busiest rugby weeks of the year, Balls feel that it is deeply important to bring you more on the brief spell that James Lowe spent living with Sean O'Brien, the fly-on-the-wall documentary that Irish rugby didn't know it needed.

When Lowe first landed in Leinster, he spent a couple of weeks living with O'Brien. Speaking to Balls last month, O'Brien gave his side of events.

He was in with me for a couple of weeks. That was when I was in camp though. So I was only in with him for a couple of days. He's a lovely lad and he's fitted in well around the place. He's getting on well with everyone.

He robbed a couple of towels, a bedside lamp and a few cushions out of the house. He has his own place now but he won't tell me where it is. I'll get him some day.

Today offered an opportunity to learn if O'Brien had his retribution, as Lowe spoke to Balls at a media event organised by CityJet.com.

These events are always improved when interviewees come with something to say, and happily, Lowe was eager to put a number of things on the record. "Make sure to put this somewhere", is the instruction.

While Lowe doesn't deny the scalping of a few household items, he is eager to point out that the work he put into O'Brien's flat when he first arrived in Dublin. "When I first got to Dublin, I moved into Sean O'Brien's. It was very, very kind of him and I'm very grateful", Lowe says with a smile.

In the background, Luke McGrath and Ross Byrne are struggling to maintain a straight face.

I spent hours cleaning his apartment. When I got there I had to put sheets on the bed, I had to do all of his washing... there were pizza boxes everywhere.

But I am grateful.

He still does it - he goes into my locker and takes my clothes, as he doesn't know how to work a washing machine.

We're due a response from Sean O'Brien any day now.

James Lowe was speaking at a Leinster players' flight simulation, which took place in association with CityJet.com, official airline of Leinster Rugby, at Simtech Aviation facilities in Dublin.
