James Lowe has officially arrived at Leinster, and made a considerable impact in his debut against Treviso this afternoon. Leinster ran in five tries in a 36-10 victory. Of the five tries, Lowe scored two and provided the final pass for a third.
It took Lowe 16 minutes to score his first, touching down in the corner having timed his run adjacent to a Leinster maul.
And that’s a try for @jameslowenz who opens his account for @leinsterrugby to give them the lead against @BenettonRugby touching down in the corner ?

Jordi Murphy added a second for Leinster before the break, before Ignacio Brex hit back for Treviso with a try two minutes shy of the hour. That served only to spark Leinster further into life, however, with the returning Garry Ringrose crossing the line two minutes later.
Lowe then went on to set up a try for Luke McGrath, and then had the final say in a man-of-the-match debut performance.
What a day for @jameslowenz as his second of the afternoon extends the @leinsterrugby lead against @BenettonRugby as we enter the final few minutes of the game!

The tries were the garnish on an outstanding overall performance, which featured 17 carries for a gain of 134 metres. Here is a slice of the reaction to Lowe's belated, but dazzling, debut:
James Lowe is doing alright, isn't he?

James Lowe is a hell of a signing. A brace on debut, can't wait to see him in a fully loaded Leinster team.
