Glenstal Abbey's pursuit of their first ever Munster Senior Schools Cup title got off to a flying start in their Limerick derby semi-final against Ardscoil Rís at Thomond Park.
Just under three minutes into the game, fullback Jack O'Mahony touched down for his side's first try.
After winning ball off their own lineout on the far side of the pitch, Glenstal worked the ball swiftly to the opposite side where it founds its way into the hands of O'Mahony.
The flying back chipped over the top of the Ardscoil Rís defence and then collected his own kick to touchdown.
Ben Healy would add the extras for Glenstal to give them the perfect start.
Presentation Brothers College Cork await the winners in the final.
