The Ireland Under-20 side continued their great start to their 2017 Six Nations campaign with a gutsy 27-26 win against a resolute Italian side in Prato on Friday night. Johnny McPhillips kept the scoreboard ticking over from the kicking tee and a couple of Jordan Larmour tries had Ireland 20-14 ahead before a Tommy O'Brien charge-down try in the 73rd minute helped the Irish hold off a late Italian charge.
Perhaps the most enjoyable moment of the game came with O'Brien's try. Not just because it was at such a crucial stage in the game but also because of the incredible reaction it elicited from the excitable Italian commentator.
The try came right after Italy had brought the game back to 20-19 with an unconverted try, so the reaction of the commentator was understandable given that his team basically handed Ireland back the match.
Notice how he gets incredibly animated before almost immediately and rapidly calming back down again.
Italian commentator loses his shit
How very Italian.
